Our History

Romani Components is a company that was established in Pero, in the province of Milan, in the year 2000, by two founders. It continues the industrial distribution activity that had already begun at the end of 1997 within the former parent company.

By supplying major national mechanical engineering companies, it specializes in the transformation and distribution of precision components for linear motion, with a particular focus on products such as SBC ball guides, YYC rack and pinions, and KSK and GTEN ground and rolled ball screws.

The rapid development in the following years necessitated the relocation of Romani Components from its inadequate warehouse to a larger space in the industrial area of Mazzo di Rho, still on the outskirts of Milan, next to the Fiera Milano area, which is close to important highway exits and easily served by the metro, railway pass, and state railways.

Recently, the working area has been doubled, allowing Romani Components to expand and upgrade its machinery/equipment park, significantly increasing production capacity and the quality level of supplies.

Moreover, significant investments have been made in modernizing the working areas. It is important to emphasize that expansion and renovation works began a year ago for both a new warehouse and the offices.

The new momentum came in July 2024 when the Automation business area of the Addtech Group acquired Romani Components Srl. This way, Romani became part of Addtech’s operations within the Motion & Drives business unit, strengthening the Group’s position in the European market.
