Romani Components at MECSPE 2026

Romani Components returned to participate in a new edition of MECSPE, which concluded with 60,581 visitors and over 2,000 companies. The 24th edition of MECSPE, the leading international trade fair for the manufacturing industry organized by Senaf and held at BolognaFiere from March 4 to 6, 2026, brought together companies, technologies, and expertise from across the industrial supply chain, transforming into a lively and engaging space where meetings, networking, and direct interactions created new business and collaboration opportunities for the sector.

With its 13 thematic halls and 18 special initiatives, MECSPE once again offered a comprehensive overview of the main production sectors, bringing together companies, technology providers, research centers, and industry professionals in a single space. The event confirmed itself as a platform for connection and discussion within the sector, fostering dialogue between companies and the development of new collaborations throughout the manufacturing supply chain. Among the stands and along the aisles, the energy of a sector that continues to invest, innovate, and plan for the future was clearly felt: a community built on entrepreneurship, vision, and expertise, finding at the fair a natural context to strengthen professional relationships, build synergies, and develop new projects.

In this context, the data from the MECSPE Observatory, conducted in collaboration with Nomisma, provide a snapshot of a sector that continues to show resilience: nearly 8 out of 10 companies closed 2025 with revenue growth or results in line with 2024, signaling a sector looking to 2026 with renewed confidence, continuing to focus on innovation, skills, and production efficiency to strengthen competitiveness.

The 2026 edition also confirmed the growing international dimension of the event. The presence of 340 exhibiting companies from more than 20 countries and the participation of buyers and operators from various foreign markets highlight MECSPE’s increasingly important role in the European industrial landscape. This international dimension further expanded opportunities for discussion and business, making the fair a concrete point of contact between companies, technologies, and markets. The event is thus reinforced as an international meeting point for the manufacturing industry and as a platform capable of fostering dialogue between companies, technologies, and markets on a global scale.

Alongside technological innovation and business networking, education represents one of MECSPE’s central pillars. In a context where finding qualified personnel and adequate skills is a widespread challenge for the entire manufacturing sector, the fair has developed over the years various initiatives and dedicated spaces, involving schools, training institutions, public authorities, and companies with the aim of strengthening dialogue between industry and new talent. In this regard as well, the fair confirmed itself not only as an exhibition venue but as an ecosystem for growth, guidance, and exchange between generations, experiences, and diverse professional backgrounds.
