Romani Components at the 34th Edition of BIMU
From October 9 to 12, 2024, at Fiera Milano Rho, the 34th edition of BI-MU took place — Italy’s leading trade fair dedicated to the manufacturing industry of metal cutting and metal forming machine tools, robots, automation, digital and additive manufacturing, as well as auxiliary and enabling technologies.
Romani Components was present (Hall 13 – Booth B22) at the only industry exhibition in Italy with true international scope. As the first to embrace industrial connectivity, BI-MU renewed its format by presenting All the Faces of Innovation.
Alongside machine tools and production systems, the exhibition showcased eight thematic areas focused on: Robotics, Additive Manufacturing, Digital Technologies, Metrology, Power Transmission Systems, Surface Heat Treatments, Composites, and Consulting.
To enrich the exhibition, a comprehensive cultural and thematic program — as per tradition — was organized by both event organizers and exhibitors, hosted in the BI-MU Arena.
Additionally, a special project dedicated to education was launched, aimed at bringing schools closer to companies even during the event itself — responding to the strong need of businesses to find motivated and well-prepared young talents ready to work in the factories of the future.
Promoted by UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, the Italian association of machine tools, robots and automation manufacturers, and organized by EFIM–ENTE FIERE ITALIANE MACCHINE, the 34th edition of BI-MU was a sustainable event, managed and organized according to environmental, economic, and social sustainability principles, and certified by ICIM ISO 20121.
